That was me. A gasp of joy!
I decided today that I was going to buy some new shoes. Not just any shoes – some bitchin’ shoes. I decided I wanted some of the clog/mule Uggs. I had a pair a few years ago and Doogie decided they must die. While we went out for chinese food, she went for an Ugg buffet.
Yes. My love for the pup is strong.
After a good day on Etsy I decided to splurge and take a chance on another pair of Uggs. But wait, why the mules/clogs? Its winter, its icy and maybe a pair of boots would fit the bill. So I go searching Ebay for boots like this.
Cute simple. Hopefully under a hundred bucks. Which frankly is far too much money to spend on shoes but….. just this once. And quit raising your eyebrows when I told you the price. That is my hubby’s job.
Now, I’ve already upgraded from the fifty buck clog to the boot. When out of the blue – this slaps me in the face.
And there are different colors.
Am I the only hearing the angels singing?
Ask me how much these knit/crochet things cost.
The cheapest I saw was $200. Yes, we are now four times what I originally wanted to spend.
I think…. I should just stop now. Buy a skein of $30 sock yarn and be done with it.
But gawd….they are so cute.

Its really easy for a shoe budget to get crazy fast! Good luck!

What happened to “Never wear shoes with a back”, huh? HUH?
(Won’t talk about the price. Just rearranged my cowboy boots. Pots shouldn’t talk to kettles.)

But Kim…. these are knit boots.
Knit boots I say.
Surely they are worth the blisters on my heel?!

When/if you start whining about your blisters, there will be monumental head-shaking in the Southeast.
All I’m saying.
